American College of Physicians new guidelines:

The American College of Physicians has published new guidelines for physicians in how to approach their adult patients who suffer from OSA. The recommendations titled “Management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea in Adults” include weight loss, CPAP and Oral Appliances. http//www,sleepdt.com/acp-recommends-weight-loss-cpap-and-oral-appliances-for-sleep-apnea-sufferers/.

Dentists who are educated and trained to provide OAT are in a position to help these patients who may be seeking alternative therapy as recommended by their physicians as per the ACP guidelines.
